About

About Trinity Evangelical Free Church

Trinity church is a local body of Christ made up of ordinary people of all ages and stages who are learning to follow Jesus together. We understand that loving and serving God means loving and serving people who bear His image – in Ripon, in the surrounding communities, and to the ends of the earth.

Our purpose is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ. Our practice is to make Jesus Christ and His Word central in all that we do and say. If you are a resident of Ripon or the surrounding communities and you are not regularly involved with a Bible-believing, Christ-exalting fellowship of believers, we invite you to join us on this journey toward the fullness of joy in Christ.

Gathered worship begins at 10:15 every Sunday morning. The purpose of our worship gatherings is to glorify God and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. We sing, we pray, we celebrate what God is doing in and through each other and the missionaries we support, and we receive Bible-centered, expositional preaching.

Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:00. There are periodic breaks throughout the year in the Sunday School schedule.

What to expect on a Sunday morning

Trinity church gathers every Sunday morning at 10:15 to celebrate who God is, what He has done to rescue us by His grace, and what He is doing in our lives today as a result of these precious truths.

We typically gather for about 70-75 minutes, which includes singing, praying, and preaching. Our time together often includes an encouraging report about how God is at work here in our community and around the world.

Our worship songs are a blend of newer songs and older hymns. Our top priority is to choose songs that are packed with great truths about God.

During the school year, our Christian Education hour from 9-10 a.m. helps all ages grow in their faith in Jesus Christ.

There is a welcome center kiosk in the lobby with information about the church.

Please dress however you are comfortable and expect to be greeted warmly.

We look forward to meeting you!

Earning the right to be heard with the Gospel

We believe that effective ministry happens in the context of healthy relationships. At Trinity church, we are committed to earning the right to be heard with the Gospel by pursuing healthy relationships with our neighbors who call Ripon and the surrounding communities home.

Mission, Vision and Values

The mission of Trinity Evangelical Free Church is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ.

The vision of Trinity church: We aim to become a loving community created, captivated and compelled by the Gospel and empowered by the Holy Spirit to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ.

Trinity church values:
  • God’s Glory: Our purpose is to glorify God by enjoying Him through individual and gathered prayer, worship and service. (Psalm 19:1-2, Isaiah 43:7)
  • God’s Word: God’s written word is the truth that defines what we believe about God and about who we are and what we are to do. (Prov. 30:5, 2 Tim. 3:16-17)
  • God’s Gospel: Jesus Christ is the eternal, living Word of God – the revealed good news who has redeemed sinners from God’s righteous wrath. (John 1:1-13, 1 Peter 1:18-19)
  • God’s People: God redeemed and adopted a people in Christ to live and serve together under His Lordship to bring the Gospel to all nations and generations. (Galatians 4:4-5, Psalm 145:4)
  • God’s Mission: The Holy Spirit calls, equips and empowers the people of God to make disciples for His glory. (Matt. 28:18-20, Acts 1:8)
